Cold applied plastics, otherwise known as tape, are versatile, durable markings that have tight application conditions (temperature and weather) but when installed properly have a very long life. There are several types of “tape”; one is a removable temporary grade, which is used to create temporary traffic patterns on final wearing surfaces where paint and grinding are not wanted. There are also permanent grade cold applied plastics with greater thicknesses and reflectivity levels for added wear and life. They come in several widths and compositions to meet all required applications. They are available in linear lengths and in symbol (arrow and legend) form as well.
